Dentro il Blocco Operatorio
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 6 September 2026.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of Dentro il Blocco Operatorio, including checklists, guides, tools, personal features and Premium services. By using the website or creating an account, you confirm that you have read the applicable terms. For purchases, acceptance of the Terms must be collected explicitly before the order.
2. Nature of the service
Dentro il Blocco Operatorio is an information and educational service mainly intended for nurses and healthcare professionals interested in the operating room. Its content supports study, review and organisation of information. It is not a hospital procedure, prescription, official clinical guideline, service order, medical or legal advice, and it does not replace mandatory training, supervision, local protocols, manufacturer instructions or professional judgement in a specific case.
3. Priority of real-world operating rules
If website content differs from organisational protocols, local procedures, manager directions, manufacturer instructions, official device or medicine documentation, or decisions of the clinical team, those sources always take priority. Before applying information in practice, users must verify instruments, materials, doses, devices, techniques, sequences and availability in their own workplace.
4. Clinical content and variation
Surgical techniques, devices, trade names, operator preferences, materials and procedures may vary between organisations and teams and may change over time. Checklists are preparation aids and must not be used as the sole source for clinical or care decisions.
5. Account
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, the security of their credentials and all activity through their account. Access may not be transferred, shared or resold when this enables third parties to use restricted content or features in breach of the purchased plan.
6. Personal notes and patient data
Personal notes are intended only for the user’s general professional notes. Do not enter names, identifying initials, record numbers, dates of birth, images, reports or any other information that could identify a patient or third party. The service is not a medical record or an authorised repository for patient health data.
7. Free and Premium service
Free and Premium features are described on the website. Their composition may change for technical, editorial or organisational reasons, without retroactively depriving consumers of services already due for a paid period, except where change is required by law, security or subsequent impossibility.
8. Prices and payment
Before purchase, the total price, applicable taxes, billing period, contract duration, any automatic renewal and cancellation method must be displayed clearly. No additional amount may be charged without a clearly communicated contractual basis.
9. Renewal and cancellation
If a plan renews automatically, this must be stated clearly before purchase. Users must be able to disable renewal through a simple process. Unless mandatory law or a required refund provides otherwise, cancellation prevents future charges and Premium access continues until the end of the paid period.
10. Consumer withdrawal rights
Where applicable, consumers have the withdrawal rights provided by the Italian Consumer Code. The ordinary period for distance contracts is 14 days, subject to statutory cases and exceptions. If digital content or services are to begin immediately and a loss of the withdrawal right may apply, checkout must separately collect the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement of the statutory consequences, and provide the required confirmation. Without these requirements, the website must not state that the right is automatically lost.
11. Support, complaints and withdrawal
Requests can be sent to infermieri5.0@gmail.com. Messages are normally taken in charge within 24 hours. No special wording is required to exercise a statutory right, provided the user’s intention is clear and the contract can be identified.
12. Intellectual property
Texts, checklists, editorial structure, graphics, trade marks, images and original materials are protected by applicable law. Content may be used for personal study and individual professional consultation within the purchased plan. Without written permission, users may not republish, sell, systematically distribute, create competing databases, perform mass extraction, make content publicly available, or use it to train or power services intended to redistribute the same materials commercially.
13. Prohibited uses
The service may not be used for unlawful activities, to compromise website security or availability, attempt unauthorised access, bypass technical restrictions, perform unauthorised mass scraping, distribute malware, impersonate another person or infringe third-party rights.
14. Availability and technical changes
The owner aims to keep the service available and reliable but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or absolute absence of errors. Updates, maintenance, temporary suspension or changes may be required for security, technical development or external causes. Liability limitations apply only as far as permitted by law and do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Reporting errors
Users are invited to report errors or outdated content. The reporting channel does not transfer editorial responsibility to users; it supports progressive improvement of the service.
16. Account suspension or closure
Access may be suspended or closed where necessary for security, unlawful use, material breach of these Terms or non-payment, taking account of the seriousness of the conduct and, where reasonably possible, informing the user. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for consequences of using content as a substitute for protocols, official instructions, training, supervision or professional judgement. Nothing limits or excludes liability where the law prohibits it, including mandatory consumer rights.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law. Consumers retain the jurisdiction provided by mandatory consumer-protection rules. For professional users, any additional jurisdiction clause must be introduced only after legal review and proper approval where required.
19. Changes to the Terms
Material changes affecting ongoing relationships must be communicated with reasonable notice unless they are immediately required by law or security. The applicable version and update date must always be available.
